Vocal Toning: A Simple Practice to Release Fear and Guilt
One of the most effective ways to integrate Sound Healing into your daily routine is through vocal toning—a practice that uses your own voice to create healing vibrations within your body.
Try this simple yet powerful exercise:
1. Find a Quiet Space: Sit comfortably where you won’t be disturbed.
2. Deep Breathing: Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, then exhale through your mouth. Repeat a few times to centre yourself.
3. Produce the Tone: Close your lips and hum the sound “mmm” at a natural pitch. Pay attention to the vibration it creates in your face and chest.
4. Visualise Healing: As you continue to hum, imagine a warm, glowing light at the base of your spine—the area of your Root Chakra—growing stronger with each sound. Picture fear and guilt dissolving with every breath.
5. Repeat: Continue this for 5-10 minutes daily, focusing on the sound and the physical sensations it creates. Over time, you’ll notice a shift in your energy and mindset.
Vocal toning is accessible to everyone—you don’t need to be a singer to experience its profound benefits!
