- Booking Sessions: Clients can book sessions via our website, by phone at 07969416269, or via email songandsoundtherapy@gmail.com

- Availability: Sessions are available by appointment only.

- Session Duration: Typical sessions last approximately 60 - 90 minutes. Clients are advised to arrive 10 minutes early to prepare and relax before the session.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

- Notice Period: We require a 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to other clients.

- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session price.

- No-Show Policy: Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without any prior notice will be charged the full cost of the session.

3. Fees and Payments

- Fees: A list of session fees is available on the website.

- Payment Methods: We accept cash, PayPal or BACS. All payments should be completed before the session begins.

4. Late Arrivals

- Handling Delays: Clients arriving late will be accommodated as best as possible within the remaining allotted time without affecting subsequent appointments. Please note that sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of the start time.

- Adjustment of Session Time: If you arrive late, please be aware that your session may be shortened accordingly, and the full fee for the session will still apply.

5. Health and Safety Protocols

- Client Preparation: Clients are asked to refrain from wearing strong perfumes or colognes and to come in comfortable attire.

- Special Needs: Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any special needs, health concerns, or allergies. We strive to accommodate all our clients’ needs within our capability.

- Hygiene and Cleanliness: We follow strict hygiene and sanitation protocols. All instruments and spaces are cleaned and disinfected between each session.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

- Confidential Information: All personal information provided to us will be kept confidential and will only be used to enhance your therapy experience.

- Consent for Treatment: Clients will be required to sign a consent form agreeing to the therapy techniques and acknowledging the booking policies before commencing their first session.

7. Accommodations for Clients with Special Requirements

- Inclusivity: At Song and Sound Therapy, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our clients. We believe in making our services accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability or health condition.

- Health Conditions: If you have specific health conditions that may affect your therapy session, such as sensory sensitivities, chronic pain, or any medical restrictions, please inform us during the booking process. I will tailor sessions to meet your unique needs and ensure your comfort and safety.

- Mental Health Considerations: We understand that mental health can affect your therapy experience. Please communicate any mental health concerns you might have. We strive to adapt our sessions to better suit your emotional and psychological comfort levels.

8. Policies for Minors

- Clients Under 16: Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the therapy session. The accompanying adult must remain in the therapy area or waiting room as required for the comfort and safety of the minor.

- Consent for Clients Under 18: All clients under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to receiving any therapy services. A consent form must be signed by the parent or guardian and submitted to us before the first session. This form will detail what the therapy involves and confirm the guardian’s agreement to proceed with the therapeutic sessions.

- Safety and Comfort: Our priority is the safety and comfort of all our clients, especially minors. Our therapists are trained to provide a supportive and safe environment, ensuring that all interactions are appropriate and secure.

- Privacy and Confidentiality: We uphold strict confidentiality in treating all our clients, including minors. Any information collected will be used solely for the purpose of delivering effective therapy and will not be disclosed without the consent of the minor's parent or guardian, except as required by law.

9. Feedback and Complaints

- Feedback: We welcome and value feedback on our services. Please feel free to contact us at songandsoundtherapy@gmail.com with your comments or suggestions.

- Complaints: If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please discuss it with us directly so we can resolve the issue promptly.

10. Professional Credentials and Client Assurance

- DBS Check: I hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which ensures that I have no history of behaviour that would be considered unsuitable for working with vulnerable groups, including children. This is part of our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all clients.

- Membership with the Complementary Medical Association: I am a proud member of the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), which is dedicated to promoting the very highest standards of complementary medicine and natural healthcare. Membership with the CMA signifies adherence to best practices and a professional code of conduct in the field of complementary therapy.

- Insurance: My practice is fully insured through Westminster Insurance, providing coverage for all the therapies offered. This insurance not only protects me as a practitioner but also ensures that all clients are safeguarded should any unforeseen circumstances arise during therapy sessions.

- Commitment to Professional Standards: These credentials underscore my commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice in song and sound therapy. They provide clients with the assurance that they are receiving services from a qualified and responsible therapist.
