When emotions run high, a few deep, rhythmic breaths can make all the difference. This simple breathwork technique helps regulate the nervous system, creating a sense of calm and connection for both you and your child.
Try This Together:
Breathe in for 4 seconds – Imagine filling your belly like a balloon.
Hold for 4 seconds – Feel the stillness in your body.
Breathe out for 6 seconds – Like blowing out a candle slowly.
Repeat 4-5 times – Sync your breath with your child’s to deepen connection.
This technique is perfect for bedtime, before school, or during big emotions. It works for little ones AND for us when parenting gets overwhelming!
Save this for when you need a moment of calm! Who will you try this with? Let me know in the comments.
